Studio Pilates uses spring based equipment such as the Reformer or Chair to assist and resist movement, thus allowing clients to be supported and/or challenged in movement practice. Other Pilates apparatus' such as the Spine Corrector, Box and small equipment are incorporated along with Mat Repetoire into each session making classes versatile and engaging, whilst learning the fundamentals on Pilates.
With a key focus on alignment and conscious movement, Pilates encourages clients to consider their movement patterns inside and outside of the studio.
Whether your intention is to participate in safe physical activity appropriate for all ages, or engage in a specific training program that is complimentary your training as an athlete or dancer or to simply improve your body awareness and form, whatever your goal or objective is Pilates will be a beneficial addition to your life.
